It’s Our Story, Story of Nellies Landing.
Cal & Jen are the owners/operators of Nellie’s Landing Marina. Cal is originally from Murray Harbour and introduced his partner Jen to the area and they decided to buy a summer property there. During the pandemic an opportunity to buy the adjacent property and marina was presented to them and they both saw the potential and seized the opportunity. The beautiful welcoming marina, formerly known as Bowdridge Landing, owned and operated by Jamie & Cheryl Richards was sold to Cal & Jen in 2021. Cal is a fisherman and Jen’s background is with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Both have experience in the seasonal rental accommodations industry. They sold their RV “Peter” and bought 2 houseboats and 2 wine barrels to add to the marina for guests, friends & family to enjoy.
Both Cal & Jen have a love for music. Jen comes from a musical family, so what did they add to the marina? of course, music events. Both enjoy hosting and meeting people and this will be reflected when you come visit and stay at Nellie’s Landing.
